Pilots who want to fly for Part 121 passenger carriers and cargo carriers as the Pilot in Command (PIC) need this rating.

Certificate Prerequisites: FAA requires you to have your Private Pilot, Commercial Pilot, and Instrument ratings. Although not an FAA requirement, to get hired by an airline you should also have your Multi-engine rating. Must be at least 23 years old to receive the certificate. First class medical certificate required. Must read, speak, write, and understand the English language and be of good moral character. Flight hour requirements are 1500 hours of total time.

Most Pilots working toward this rating are flying as commercial pilots. Because of the unique and varied flying schedules, we have found it practical to offer this coarse on a tutorial basis. Pick up the manual for self study, then come to us to help you through the tough stuff. We offer computer-based and individual instruction rather than class-based instruction. The average pilot needs approximately 3 hours of assistance. Call us if this program works for you.
